Far East Broadcasting Company (FEBC) celebrates the pastoral ordination of two top leaders.

On Dec. 13, FEBC Chinese Ministry executive director Eduardo Lo has been formally ordained as a pastor at the FEBC California headquarters. Before his ordination, he has been qualified by a committee led by the FEBC Chief Executive Officer Dr. Douglas Pennoyer, who is also the Director of Missiology at the Talbot School of Theology, Biola University.

On the same day, the president of FEBC International Dr. Gregg J. Harris was also ordained.

During the ordination service, Pennoyer delivered the words of encouragement to the new pastors. He highlighted the "triple-S" principle- Slave, Servant and Steward.

The first word "Slave" tells the new pastors about their positions as "slaves of God"; they are neither slaves of man nor slaves of FEBC. The second word "Servant" reminds them to serve with the heart of servant, as the Lord has taught the disciples, "and whoever wants to be first must be your slave." The last word "Steward" explained their positions as managers who are entrusted with God’s work and must work faithfully on their given responsibilities.

Before Rev Eduardo Lo’s conversion, he has been a very successful business, directing a company with over 2000 employees. However, the death of one of his high school friends has prompted him to deeply mediate on the meaning of life. During a fellowship meeting, he decided to give up his business and dedicate his life in God’s ministry.

Lo is a graduate of the Master of Divinity from the Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, in 2002. He was later rewarded the Master Degree of Theology in 2004. In the same year, he was called into the FEBC Chinese Ministry and became the executive director.

The founder of FEBC Dr. Bob Bowman is very pleased with Lo’s ordination. He also gives sincere blessings to Lo.
